Wedding Mania

I'm pretty proud of the things I have accomplished for the wedding for the past two months. :) Despite a hectic work schedule (Picture this: took the 430am flight to Davao for an activity during lunch, then flew back to Manila on the last flight so I could still have the whole weekend for the wedding preps!), I managed to squeeze in bookings of major suppliers.

Here's a rundown of what I have accomplished:

1) INC - New Era, Cavite - They have already blocked off my wedding day! :) Talked to the pastor already and contacted the person in-charge for the flowers. I can just imagine how beautiful the church would look. :)

2) Splendido, Taal - Booked and had food tasting! The place is perfect. It has a view of Taal to your right and the golf course to your left. It has a "garden wedding" feel without worrying about rain.

The fountain area where cocktails will be served.

By next year, they'll have the fire place working already.

The food is great! Really yummy! Too bad I wasn't able to take pics of the food. :(

3) Photo: Dino Lara - Need I say more? One of the best wedding photographers. Got great tips from him. :) I told him, di ako pwede masapawan sa pics ng fiance ko na artistahin, hahahaha. :P

4) Video: Bob Nicolas - Nice, low-key guy. I'm only hearing good things about him. So excited how the on-site will turn out. Hmm, still have to decide on the on-site AVP song...

5) Wedding Gown: Veluz - I love my wedding gown. It's so me! Can't wait to see it! :) I'm so looking forward to my fittings. I'm sure there wouldn't be any dull moment with Veluz and Niko! You have to meet them bebe!

6) Flowers/Event Stylist: April & Karen Yu - Great eye to detail. Very creative!

7) Wedding Coordinator: Events Experts - From our meeting, I immediately sensed Jody's passion for her work. Very thorough and organized. Looking forward to working with her soon. I still haven't sent her the accomplished list, hehe.

8) String Quartet: Manila Philharmonic Orchestra - Got a good deal as a wedding gift from my "kinakapatid" whose husband is a member of MPO. I hope I get the time soon to list down the songs...

9) Sound System/Lighting: Rejektcrew - Elmer is very professional. Committed to giving the best to his clients. I'll be waiting for that free confetti blast! :)

Well, I'm hoping to finally order our wedding rings during the wedding congress on Sept 1 & 2. You have to get your ring size na, bebe! And please decide on the bridal car na ok? :)

Manual

It's true that after driving an automatic, you wouldn't want to drive a manual. After driving my automatic car for almost two months now, I drove my manual. It was Wednesday, my coding day. I woke up late and I wasn't in the perfect "Miss Congeniality" and/or diplomatic mood, in case I'm not able to "hide" from and evade the MMDA or Makati police and actually get caught. Besides, I kinda missed my old car, too. But after driving it, and feeling what I've felt when I was first learning how to drive - not knowing what to do when the car suddenly jerks violently (I forgot, it has a third pedal - the clutch), or worse, when it suddenly stops in the middle of EDSA - I'd rather wake up early on my color coding day or risk being caught by the Makati police! (The MMDA - I can always use my charm to get away, hehe.)

I miss you bebe for driving me to work...I miss our long drives and the great conversation...The weekend drives to Tagaytay for the wedding preps would have been extraordinary... :)

Finally, our blogspot

Finally, I have my own blogspot. I was originally thinking of using those wedsites, but decided i want something more "generic" and not too "wedding-y". :) I even thought I wouldn't put up a wedsite...but then I saw this pic. I just have to post it somewhere.
I love my engagement ring. Ramil gave it to me last May 28, 2007 - straight out of his jeans pocket.
