Anonymous

I just got back from a tiring work-related Manila-Cebu-Davao-Cebu-Iloilo-Manila (in just 3 days!) trip. Was up since 4.15 this morning to catch my flight. Only to find out that it's delayed. So what's new? I'll save that for another blog entry.

While on the plane back to Manila, I was thinking how I wish I could write as freely as I can about all the characters in my life - their eccentricities, uniqueness, strangeness, idiosyncrasies, coolness, greatness. I wish I can describe them and how they affect me, whether positively or negatively, as candidly and as honestly as I can. Raw, pure, unadulterated.

I'm sure that would be quite entertaining, to say the least.

I wish I could write whatever about work and the people I work with. Rave and rant like there's no tomorrow.

Maybe one of these days I'll start another blog. Anonymously this time. I wonder if they can actually guess it's me talking about them, if they happen to stumble upon my blog.

I wish I could write anything and everything about my relationships. Spill my deep, darkest thoughts. Pour out the most exquisite feelings I've ever felt.

I really admire the bloggers out there who post their real identities and talk about everything about them. Real names and all. With a generous serving of expletives, in all its variations.

Road trips & cathartic love songs III

This is so cute. Ramil (in my red down jacket!), Linnea, and Daisy the dog (upper right) when we went sledding at the backyard.

That's me and Andie.

For some reason I couldn't upload our sledding videos. :(

Bikram Yoga

I went to my first ever Bikram yoga class yesterday afternoon. After a briefing with the instructor, Marc, I settled myself at the back of the room by the windows. I didn't want to stay somewhere in the middle where people would see me make a fool of myself and distract the others, haha!

The poses were very very challenging plus you really have to work hard against yourself not to be affected by the heat of the room! You really have to concentrate on the poses, especially your breathing. Otherwise, you'll end up passing out. A few times I felt the room spinning so I had to sit down, drink, and relax. If I didn't concentrate, hihimatayin yata ako sa init! I couldn't get some poses right, couldn't get my balance. I swear I'm not flexible! The poses were not easy as it looks at all!

More than a few times, the instructor called my attention so I would get the poses right. Eh ang hirap talaga, ang init pa! Plus half of the time I have to figure out what he was saying, with his accent and all. I'm not sure if it's Australian or Eurpoean.

I think I did good during the first class. I mean, I did my best. And my best-est to concentrate against the heat and humidity if the room. Halfway during the class I was thinking kelan ba 'to matatapos?!

After the class, you couldn't imagine how much you've sweated. There were puddles and puddles of sweat on the floor, and we were barefoot. Eeek!

Couldn't wait to go back, though! :)

The postures.

Trial HMU

I had my trial make-up with Cathy Cantada (Shu Uemura) & hair by Jerry (check out latest issue of Wedding Essentials). I love it! And Ramil loves it too. :) I asked her to add more color to my cheeks and lips and more drama to my eyes for the wedding. Smokey eyes are for me! As well as waterproof & cry-proof wedding make-up!

Have to have those darn braces removed soon. I look weird! I'm not exactly photogenic and those braces even mess up my smile.

Save the Date

This got me so excited 2 weekends ago...

I emailed them as soon as I can to friends and relatives. One of our creative agencies printed them out on sticker and mounted them on magnetic sheets. (It's a ref magnet to remind our friends & relatives, especially those from outside the country.) I then made turquoise envelopes with lining (with lime RM design).

The RM rings design should be embossed and foil printed in silver. But I guess I'll just do that for the invite. I don't want to spend so much for the STD. So much effort has been placed on it as it is. :)

With our wax seal. :) That's "M" for Monsod...pwede rin M for Macy. :)

Imeldific

I haven't had the time to do the Part II of our US vacation. But I just had to blog about this first:

I may not exactly be a fan, but here are some reasons why I braved to ask a picture with her:
1. Poised as ever. Grace under pressure. She really got class! (Maybe even an icon for some, or for many)
2. Wow, amazing ternos!
3. Enviable collection of shoes!!
4. Exotic bling-bling (regardless of whose money she bought it with)
5. Borgy Manotoc (ooh la la)

Can't believe she took a break and accomodated us for a photo-op. Unlike some celebrities. Of all times, all our cameras were already dead so we took this photo using my camera phone. Oh and after we left, her bodyguard went after us to make sure that we took a good photo. :) Now that's something we have in common! :)
